The Very Rev. Peter Wall is one of 6 nominees for election as the 12th Bishop of Huron.   He is Dean of the Diocese of Niagara and Rector of Christ's Church Cathedral, Hamilton (shown right).

Peter Wall was born in Kingston, Ontario and raised in London, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta.   In 1979, he received a Bachelor of Music (Performance) degree from the University of Toronto then in 1989, a Master of Divinity degree (with Distinction) from the University of Western Ontario.

Dean Wall was ordained a deacon on May 17, 1989 and priested on November 30, 1989.   His first appointment was St. Mark's-by-the-Lake, St. Clair Beach where he was Deacon in Charge, July - December 1989 and Rector, December 1989 - July 1993.   He was Rector of Bishop Cronyn Memorial Church, London from July 1993 - November 1998 before moving to his current position.

Dean Wall is presently the Anglican Co-Chair of the Lutheran-Anglican Joint Commission, Canada; Diocesan Liturgical Officer, Diocese of Niagara; member of the Diocese of Niagara Synod Council; a director of the Anglican Foundation of Canada; Chaplain, Hamilton Fire Department; and Chaplain, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

Dean Wall is one of the Three Cantors. For the group's contributions to community building, and to fund-raising to alleviate world hunger, Dean Wall was made an Honorary Life Member, The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund and also Honorary Senior Fellow, Renison College.
