St. Bartholomew's, Sarnia

The parishioners at St. Bartholomew's, Sarnia are active in many forms of outreach in the community including: preparing and serving lunch at the Inn of the Good Shepherd on the 2nd Wednesday of each month; collecting toiletries and donating seasonal gifts to the Sarnia Women's Interval Home; donating the proceeds from the children's Funfair to Sleeping Children Around the World; participating in Operation Christmas Child that arranges for shoe boxes filled with school supplies, toiletries, small toys and special treats that are given children in need throughout the world.
The Rev. Rachael Parker has indicated she will resign as rector of St Bartholomew's effective January 31, 2009. At that time she will journey to be with Rev. Rob Parker with his chaplaincy position with the Canadian Armed Forces. Until the end of the year, she is one of the Diocese of Huron's Chaplains to Youth.
