St Mark's Anglican, Brantford, Ontario
The first St Mark's was erected in 1953. The congregation moved to the current location when the present building was constructed in 1965.
In 1978, Christopher Wallis of London, Ontario designed the stained glass windows. The window shown left was presented by the 38th Brantford Scouts, Cubs, Venturers & Beavers and the 23rd Brantford Guides and Brownies commemorating
the 70th Anniversary of Scouting in Canada. In 2001, after the nave was enlarged, 'Calming of the Storm' (right), also by Christopher Wallis, was added.
The Ven. Dr. Jim Sutton became rector in 2000 and has been Archdeacon of Brant/Norfolk & Oxford since 2003. In September 2006, Rev. Vickie Edgeworth-Pitcher became Associate Pastor for Youth and Family; she is also Chaplain to Wilfrid Laurier through ministry at Grace Church, Brantford.
